🤓 New Tools!

7+ Announced Apple OS upgrades you'll get this year!

We’ll keep this quick. I have pictures!

Every June when Apple’s WWDC airs, I eagerly consume the software update showcase. It’s the start of a four-month prep window to think about how to leverage the tool in my pocket and at my fingertips for greater productivity. The process of reviewing the information is always the same:

  • 🎬 Watch either the main showcase or CNET’s “Everything in 10 min”

  • 🌐 Read the overview pages on Apple’s website

  • 👀 See what sticks out to initial users on YouTube (Marques Brownlee’s “Impressions”)

And now I get to give you the highlights! I’ve organized each section via hardware, and only selected the top items that I think genuinely effect productivity/usability. Enjoy!

Mac OS 🖥️

  • Upgraded Spotlight (⌘+SPACE) - Attempting to assimilate Raycast Features (which every Mac user should have installed for free), Spotlight search can now do a whole lot more than ineffectively looking up files.

  • Apple Intelligence Shortcuts - Now you can craft even more time-saving shortcuts for your regular use-cases.

Continuing the slow integration of making iPad OS a “touchable” Mac OS…
